Thx  jay , it over heated then I used dimmer like this site says , now it’s one of my favorite lamps ! I made a slow motion video of it . I also found it it might be usa made from this site , so much great info here

Yes it's a U.S. globe. They used gold caps when they ran out of white ones and  right before they moved to China made lamps.
