My original Grande worked like big crap it flow like shit... And the 8 oz was so cloudy that you cant see anything. I have some Photos, there you can see it.
The Mathmos Goo isnt so expensive. Ok 200Dollars ore so. But the shipment of the Lava Louie Goo was more expensive because i colered it too much and the second time it backed after some days at the bottom and i get some little goo bubbles at the walls.

..and I thought I was getting carried away !

But it is a very, very nice looking lamp, and if my Marley Grande lamp (arriving today...yay!) looks/works like crap I'll be even more envious.

5 Astro Bottles are enough for 1 Grande and 1 8oz Lamp. Then you have nearly the same goo water ratio like in an Mathmos lamp. Its a little bit less goo like in an original grande but the goo is more slimey/liquid it think its Perfect. Works better than an Goo Kit. Will run it for some days an look how it will flow.
