a vase, ok. but a very stylish one, I like it a lot!

have you ever thought of transforming this into a lamp base? for a cylinder shaped bottle?

If it's made out of plastic, you can "drill" little holes with a hot needle or nail, for wiring the lamp-to-be. Works fine, did it a lot with different plastic stuff. But maybe plastic is delicate with higher temperatures.

If it's pottery you don't have any heat issues, but the drilling may be complicated? I have no experiences with ceramic.

Ahh, that's just a funky looking vase I picked up a few years ago at a car boot sale. I think it is Italian.
