Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

My boyfriend and I found this while at an antique shop in St. Louis. It was being clearenced out and I told him it looked like a lava lamp. He didn't know what it was, but at $40, why not? Later, we found these go for $200-$250 and it's called the Windsor, a Consort variance. We would NEVER sell this baby, though! It's what got us back into collecting and we couldn't be happier! It has that old school feel to it, wouldn't you say? The picture doesn't show the lava flowing, as it hasn't warmed up yet.

That looks to be in excellent condition! Crazy it had to be put on clearance at $40, much more valuable!
