Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Check my earlier picture for a "before" picture. The lava used to float to the top during the initial startup phase and it would never move. I filtered the liquid and boiled the lava and now it flows great.

I ran the liquid through a pur water filter. It doesnt clear it 100% but it makes things a lot better. I boil the lava by taking all the liquid out and sitting the globe in a pot of boiling water. This melts the lava 100% and forces the lava to form a consistent mix. And to make sure I got it mixed together I take stir the lava around with a stick for a full minute.
