Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I've been searching for one of these for a while. This is the original White Lightning by Rabbit Systems. Reportedly the original design came from Larry Albright. Radio Shack/Realistic made a knockoff later call various names such as Lightning Fury and Lightning 3000. The difference is easy to spot since the Rabbit originals do not have a black cap on the top of the dome (which prevented nasty shocks).

Not sure how much the black cap helped, I still got a small shock when I was touching the side of the dome and touched a piece of grounded metal.  Got a shock about like a mild static electricity shock.

Very nice score Rich! I was wondering why they applied a plastic cap to the other models. I have the Lightning 2000 and have been tempted to remove that little goofy hat it has, but always decide to keep it original, haha.
