The green/black looks much better in a semi-lit room. You can't see all the glass flaws. Brought it to work to get some runs in and it looks much better here. I really like the color combo, but as you can guess, the flow is boring.

I know Mathmos' black can look really dark purple. Mathmos' wax is more transparent, too.
Oh weird! That looks purple or red, yeah. I think it will get less transparent with time. Even though it's neat, I'd say it's some kind of screw-up.I like it though!
Huh. Another member just mentioned a green/red lamp, so I'm wondering if it's a different color wax. My wax is definitely black. What did the box say? Can you post a pic? I'd like to see it.
The green and black does look good. Might be time to spice up some 32 oz. clear/blacks with food coloring ;)
Luckily, pinholes are easy to do, even if cumbersome.
Even though I wasn't a fan of the resin/ceramic bases, Lava Lite should go back those for special occasions like Halloween, etc.
Orange and green make a great contrast, gosh nearly Halloween again !
Thanks Pete! I do, too. Esp in time for HALLOWEEN! Now I need to get a working orange/black to match! They really should have put this color combo on a black base and cap! I'll be painting this one, or swapping it out, soon.
Nice ! loving the green/black colourway.
I got those at Target for a $1/each!
The green/black is not bad at all. It looks its worst in a dark room. Here at the office, it looks pretty fabulous!
