Typically one color comes from the same source ingredient regardless of what it is used for so that is probably the case. I think pink comes from bugs, but maybe I am remembering something else.

I wonder why pink liquid does does this. The early pink white mathmos globes also did this and every pink liquid I made so far looked orange and cloudy when lit. Maybe there is flourescene or so in pink/magenta dye...?

It is blue wax with pink liquid. The problem is the pink liquid looks bad. It starts to look orange and cloudy when lit.

I can't recommend this color combo. It photographs well, but in reality the color is not as vivid and it looks pretty bad. The pink color is very reactive to certain lights and starts to appear cloudy despite being clear and it takes on an orange color. I bought it because it is a color combo I don't have, but I'll be putting this one in storage.
