The light is on the bottom level and there are holes in a cone in the middle where the bulb is that shines to the top level, may not work well with led remote control bulb, ill know shortly.
Yes Jonas the oil fills the top tray and rains to the second tray. I just re-strung it and new oem foliage, getting ready to test.
Amazing! Does the oil simply run the upper lines, end up in a tray, then run down the lower set? I assume the light is in the top, and wonder how much shines down to the statue.
Yes, I just scored this one last month, Very rare and the statue spins. Almost done with the restore now. Its 40" tall and 15 wide. Big.
Did you actually buy this crazy thing? Back when I did it regularly, I hated the process of re-stringing these, and this one looks much, much harder, but if restored, it'll be unbelievable. In my opinion, it IS Creators' work, probably from their early years, and likely intended as a table centerpiece.
