Just put it somewhere that u dont disturb much =) I have a specail closet where i store my globes. I switch them out here and there.

I'll try to stand my globe up on a shelf tomorrow.  I have it propped upright against pillows in a downstairs bedroom right now.   I was afraid to stand the globe up.   I thought it might fall over....I would pass out if it did.

Mine are very sturdy, I was worried at first, then I tried to tip one over while cold on purpose and it wouldn't. the base flares out enough. and since a good amount of the globe sits inside the base it doesn't really move much. Also I keep the globe's from my extras standing up on a shelf. The globe is pretty well balanced.

I think you have more than an "extra" of the Yellow......hmmmmmm

Are those lamps top heavy?   That plastic base worries me that mine is gonna topple over.  That big globe is heavy!  I hate you can't stand them up either, the bottom of the globe is too small.
