Blind Faith: Do you have pics of your food coloring experiments? I'll check your pic page...
LOL! I bet a lot of us here have to have two of each color (if possible)!! :O) One to use, and then one for a spare just in case.
I only had one purple /clear and then a few months ago I got a really cheap one from ebay. For some stupid reason I thought adding yellow food coloring would make a yellow/purple but it didn't. It made a yellow/very dark maroon like color. It's nice, but not what I wanted (and now I still only have one purple/clear)!

I can't remember at the moment if I explained in my photo section how I got the white/clear (and am too lazy to go back and look right now ;O) ) so I'll quickly explain again if ya want: I just got one of those 52oz rainbow lava's and transferered the contents into a 32oz globe. I tried running it for days and days in the stupid rainbow globe and the wax never left the side of the glass... it just stuck to it it as it would go up and down.
BUT it works beautifully once it came out and went into the clear globe. I have no clue why. Then I added just 6 drops of food coloring (I had two different brands but I forget which one I used.... I think it was the McCormicks though).

I'm sure I must have explained all that already so I'll have to go back and look when I get an un-lazy minute. :O)
