Picked up a purple/yellow Clearview from Spencer's today for $20. It's insanely clear (so far). The frosted cone really does help with that blinding light. I *HATE* that the cool new switch is on the back, near the cord. That's not how they look in pics - it looks like the switch is on the front, all by itself. The switch is also slightly crooked. More updates as I get in a few more runs.
Lamp on the right is my custom. Base is a China base, drilled and painted. Globe and cap is from a 1980s Century that was shot. Glitter is from Loren and has been dyed florescent pink. It's a stunning lamp and my best paint job to date!
