Picked up a purple/yellow Clearview from Spencer's today for $20. It's insanely clear (so far). The frosted cone really does help with that blinding light. I *HATE* that the cool new switch is on the back, near the cord. That's not how they look in pics - it looks like the switch is on the front, all by itself. The switch is also slightly crooked. More updates as I get in a few more runs.
Lamp on the right is my custom. Base is a China base, drilled and painted. Globe and cap is from a 1980s Century that was shot. Glitter is from Loren and has been dyed florescent pink. It's a stunning lamp and my best paint job to date!
Thank you Jack! :)
Love your glitter!
I love the top tart lamp to!!!
That's Erin's Frankenlamp, Trev.......first dibs "if" she ever gets tired of it, which I know she never will........;-)
Me too. :)
I covet that glitter!
Yes, the pictures of the lamp lead you to believe that's the case, but I can assure you, it's not. Thanks for the compliments Lib and Brad! ;)
lamps look great! i thought the switch would be in front and the cord in the back.
the custom looks great as well. very nice paint job and color!
Your Mama has good taste like her daughter!! ;-)
I love that lamp, too. Even my mom likes it.
