Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Yippee! I finally got a red lava globe for the starship lamp in my son's room. It looks orange in the photo because the light is on, but it is actually a perfect red. (Do need to paint his walls now...)

I contacted Lavalite.com a while back to ask if I could buy a 32 oz. red lava globe. They finally got back to me, and I thought I should pass the information along (to anyone interested), that although they don't make 32 oz. globes anymore, they do have some old inventory in stock, and a complete lamp may be purchased for $19.99.

Thanks Jerome! I was amazed that you and Bohdan also put lava starships/rockets/comets together with robots, but I guess it's a natural. You guys have me fighting the urge now to get a Gort robot...

I have seen so many different lava space craft through this web site, that I didn't know existed. I like the little Sputnik, but I guess it's actually a fragrance lamp. Are the Sputnik's still made? Is it something that is only produced in the UK? I haven't seen those on eBay.
