I agree with Critter - it is downright phallic. I own one of these lamps with two kinds of glitter -small stardust and 1/8 '' square flakes if I'm correct. Beautiful lamp only my guests kept thinking it was a tribute to all things sex toys.  NOT!  I finally placed it with a bunch of my other lamps in the basement.  I took it out yesterday and it looks fresh.  I'll try and post pictures of it tomorrow.  When it first arrived in the mail from the UK the first thing that came to mind was not a glitter lamp.  It certainly does not look like any rocket I've ever seen.   Critter - glad I'm not the only one who thought the same thing you did...LOL.  And I still cannot stop laughing at your blunt comment.
