I've been planning a special built lava ledge.

it's a nice thing to have!  though it gets hot in here with all 12 running.  that's 600 watts.

the middle space will be for the power strips since it sits behind the TV.  not a whole lot of room for a fluidium, and i definitely don't have the money for one at the moment!

for now i'm seeing if i like the setup, and for the most part i do.  next step will be to give the ledge a fresh coat of white paint and then put the lamps back.  i still need to figure out how to hide the wires.  a cloth of some sort concerns me as the bases of the lamps get very hot, and the cloth would definitely be touching the bases.

Ahh the Lava Ledge. Love it. I have a ledge as well to expand when needed. This is  "inspiring." Quite lovely!

A Fluidium would look great there in the middle ;-)
