Hi!  Yes I did make it.  The skull is hollow resin Halloween ornament from Big Lots.  The top was bored with holesaw and cleaned up with a drum sander.  The actual lamp was a new lavalite painted with an eggshell color.  Wait until November's theme lamp shows up!  (My kids say the lava look like ghost emanating from the "brain".)
