I accidentally trod on one of my Arisocrat bases hidden on the bedroom floor under some rubbish the other day. I managed to bend it back into shape reasonably well.

Why on earth do sellers do this? And what do they typically say when you tell them, "the way you packaged the lamp made it destroy itself in shipping"?

Damn.  I've had the same luck at times, too.  Now that base may be able to be bent back in shape.

What an idiot!

I bought over 10 lamps (and other things) this past last year, that arrived damaged due to inadequate packaging

Its frustrating
