Try putting it in a different base. Mine does not flow worth a damn in the snake base but when I put it in a midnight with clear bulb it flows great.

o yeah it looks very chocolate / brown it has a really slow / crappy flow though. It just has one large marble ball float at a time after it gets fully hot.
