1970's SOVIET UNION GLITTER LAMP

I've seen four or five different USSR glitter lamps and one style of lava lamp (the brown or black one with legs) and all of them have three rods running between the base and cap; my assumption is that these held the cap on, preventing owners from opening the lamp and getting at the nasty stuff inside! The glitter ones are sometimes red, amber or yellow liquid with silver glitter, sometimes clear liquid with colors painted on the glass like this one. The lava lamps are white/clear and have colors of the bottom, giving the lava a multi-color effect!
