The globe is actually completely stock but still flows really well for a China lamp. I just came across a spare 32 oz Globe that I got laying around so I might give that emerald colored wax a shot.

Wow Paul!!!  You REALLY moded that Clearview!!!  And that is a goo-kit?  My question is, because the Clearviews use sort of a different heating system with the reflector bulb radiating the heat more upward, does the goo-kit flow well on that base?
