"Mathmos did offer me a inner ring to sit in the base at the time, but i just refilled a original bottle from the contents of the new bottle design, i think a ring circle plate may be the best option"

"I mentioned the same issues when the new design bottles came out, its frigging pain and like you mathmos didnt get a good idea how to solve it. If you go down the road of refilling the original bottle then the old bottle needs to be cleaned out,…"

Hi, everyone.  This is my first post so be gentle and use lubricant. So to the point,  I've recently bought a new bottle from mathmos for a crestworth lantern.  Yippee. Problem! I know the bottle design changed sometime in the last decade with the added lip to the base of the bottle which is great for the current line up but sucks for the old war horses.Mathmos's reply was a bit rubbish  with just square it up as best you can.The obvious answer would be to put the liquid and wax from the new…See More
