Something Interesting About Me:: I've been a massage therapist since 1998. German Shepherds are my 1st love, followed by football, then music (punk, industrial, goth, alternative, indie, techno, jungle, trance, drum & bass, psychedelic rock , garage rock, metal, glam rock, experimental,?,ect....) and lava lamps. I am very into crossfit. I'm at the gym 5 times a week. If I miss 2 days in a row I'm bummed out. My gym is 2 blocks away from the old Lava Lite factory on Irving Park. I come from a very Irish Catholic football family on the South Side of Chicago. I was a total jock when I started high school. I got hurt in my junior year and couldn't play football anymore. I got heavily into music. I started going to punk and Industrial shows on the North side. Some time after that I started working at the Chicago Board of Options Exchange and into DJing. I had a crazy life back then. When I got my 1st apartment is when I started getting lava lamps. Left the CBOE and became a Massage therapist. Been practicing it for years. Stopped collecting lava lamps & DJing when I got married. Lived through a bad marriage and a messed up divorce. Got into crossfit 3 years ago. Started collecting lava lamps again last October. Stumbled across Oozing Goo when trying to find a way to clean up a cloudy new lava lamp.

My First Lava Lamp was:: Lava Lite 32oz Blue liquid with white lava, silver base & cap. I got it when I moved into my 1st apartment. I was 22. I have collected them on and off through the years. Took a 11 year lay off. Before my lay off it seemed like every mom pop record, head, clothing, thrift, furniture, card, book, coffee store or shop sold them around Chicago. Now, nowhere to be found except at Spencer's. It gets bad, to my discovery Lava Lite is no longer in Chicago. Say what? It gets worse. Now made in China. Then worst. New Lava Lite lamps look like there from Cloud City. What happened to satisfaction guaranteed? What happened to my American Icon? How do I fix this cloudy mess? Answer to the last question= Oozing Goo & Magma Tower. I told myself I would join when I made my 1st lamp with my 1st goo kit. So here I am.
