Sorry I missed you in chat. Can you give specifics on the lamp? Like, when heated, is the wax touching/inside the coil? If it's not, bad coil. A coil replacement will usually fix that problem. If it's touching, it could be something else. Let's start there. I guess I was lucky with my clear/lime. It flows perfectly. Better than any China lamp I have ever seen.
