I'm no lava techncian but i'm sure there are guys on here who can be of great assistance. See Bohdan and 6ft under.com, (Roberta) amongst others, both great lava technos and experts in the field of lava projects/customs. My most expert lava custom act is to add a little bit of blue food dye to one of my faded lamps this evening. Works a treat.
Always remember - water and electricity, not a good combination apart from if
there's a sturdy lava vase in between!
By the way I have seen the absoluts lavas on sale in internet web sites

If you want to buy your first lava lamp I would recommend something by Lava World (previously and now Lava Lite) but when they were US built and not China, the quality was far better. Over here in the UK we have Mathmos lamps which are very high quality but hard to get hold of in the States. Peace, Love and lava Jerome.x
