...just a new collector who thinks lava lamps are coool and relaxing to watch! I had no idea how many different types there are, and that so many build their own!

Elvis and Marilyn Monroe (Vandor) lamps--then a few "boop-oop-a-doop's"; then the "Stones' "forty licks" tongue, then TWO Pgh Steelers, then....???
Now I look for some of the more unique ones!
Yes, I can truly relate to this collecting bug thing, first with me it was pin badges and lightbulbs (1970's) then car literature 70's to 2000's (over 12,000 examples) Phew!
