I inherited a lavalamp (which I love) and it was knocked over by my son. Now it has a floating wax blob problem and I'm trying to fix it. I had read a way to reattached the wax to the coil online when this happened before, I think it was on this site. So I'm trying to find the technique again.

Hey Kat and welcome to this site of lava expertise. I hope you find an answer to your problem very soon as a good lava lamp in motion is so peaceful and will help you relax. Bohdan who has also left you a message here is a very helpful guy and has possibly the world's greatest collection of lava lamps. There are loads of other helpful collectors and enthusiasts here too. Why not post a discussion on your problem explaining what type of lava lamp you own.
