Hello, I TOO am afflicted with this most deap-seated desire to gaze at primordial ooze! "Hello I am LMack, and I am a Lavaholic."
I consider myself very much to be an animal.
Indeed I am happy to discover this great party that you're having here! I will promise to try not to vomit in the flowerbeds, or in the swimming pool for that matter!
Where I Live:
Virgo Super Cluster /Milky Way / Local Fluff/ Solar System /Earth! Raised in the San Fernando Valley, CA (L.A., ( currently residing))
My First Lava Lamp was:
I was a teenager, it was the nineties, and on a Target shopping excursion one day with my mother - she bought for me a (their exclusive at the time! 97 ish?) a black star-based Aristocrat with Yellow Lava and Purple Liquid, (after insisting that I needed another lamp for my room, as she deemed it to be too dark. Well, hey that's what I chose and she obliged! She still bought me another (conventional ;P ) lamp later on, as she determined that my new lamp wasn't enough! Ah, good memories, dear old Mom..) I still have it! In perfect shape, but don't have the box anymore I believe. I do have that colorful little satisfaction guaranteed card though, haha. I heeded the instructions and warnings, and made sure to never abuse my lamp, turning it off if it was too hot, never shaking it and keeping it on a timer lest I forget to turn it off. I love my lamp!

Hi Lmack and a warm welcome to Oozing Goo. Why not tell us more about yourself and your interest in the lava scene. It would be nice to know. There are many nice folks to speak to here about lava issues and collecting etc.
