Hey Nancy, what a relief, these things look so fargile. I'm so glad it got there in one piece (or should that be three pieces?) lol.

Anyway, glad you got good feedback too. What a splendid item. I'm sure it's gone to a good home. Just a pity it couldn't be mine!

Hi Nancy. Definitely use plenty of bubblewrap on each globe separately and of course, the mounting (base) too, but all components must be kept separate from each other. Then a sturdy box with plenty of packing to keep the items separate from each other. The box should be marked externally as ' Glass' and 'Fragile'. This is a very precious item in lava/glitter lamp terms. You may then want to put the whole box into a larger box with more packing around the sides. Sounds extreme but a safer way to ensure safe delivery. I've had many items sent/delivered over the years which have been double-boxed. Good luck. J

Yes I saw the Forence art double glitter and it looks really great. This should go for a pretty penny as we say. Good luck with the auction.
