My lava lamp obsession started (in my teens) with my cousins lava lamp--a midnight lava lamp with black lava, clear liquid. This was the mid 90s. I had to have one... so I saved up my money, and I purchased my own lava lamp--I believe the color of the wax was called cranberry. That's how it started!
Years later I was sitting on a bench one day and thought---I'm going to buy a lava lamp... remind me of my younger years. Unfortunately, it turned into a bit of an obsession... :- /

Hi and welcome to Oozing Goo. Why not tell us more about yourself and your interest in the lava scene. It would be nice to know. There are many nice folks to speak to here about lava issues and collecting etc.
