Something Interesting About Me:: Originally from New Jersey, went to college in Ohio, lived in Las Vegas for several years and now reside in Maryland. I enjoy the old car hobby, although I don’t have any old cars. I plan to take up skiing after a 10 year hiatus. Have three boys and two are twins. The kids have a Wii, but still play Atari. We have several rotary phones that are hooked up in the house and still listen to the eight-tracks and spin some vinyl. I’d like to set-up their playroom in backlight; I think that would be fun.

My First Lava Lamp was:: My first lava lamp was not really not my own. I bought one about three years ago from Kohls and I did not realize that it took a long time to warm up, so I returned it. Then about two years ago I bought two 20 oz. ones for my kids in blue and they seem to work fine. I'd actually like to have a lava lamp in every room in the house, the bigger, the better, so that is what I'm working on now.

It would be nice to know. With over 1600 worldwide members here, you're bound to get some assistance you may need on various lava lamp issues/queries and of course, check out some of the great lava lamp collections on display here and some great pictures/videos too. There's always plenty of other cool stuff on other funky lighting and lamps as well.
