The old timers may remember the Christmas Poetry Contest we ran for a few years back in 1999, 2000 and 2001. Well, it's time to dust off that Thesaurus! Let's have a little fun competition for the best lava lamp related poem or short story honoring this year's Hollow's Eve.
No fees, but alas no prizes. Do this because you are creative and you like to beat people to the ground with your superior linguistic technique. Post your entries in the dedicated forum post.

DEADLINE EXTENDED
Entries are due by Midnight on Halloween, October 31, 2008. This way we can all enjoy them on Halloween and vote on the best. That reminds me, the esteemed jury is, you - all of you. We'll run a poll to decide the winner.
