Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Today I could not stand it any longer, I had to do it. I sent back my 52 oz. yellow lava clear liquid on a blue base. :(

As I was using it, it got worse and worse to the point it got so cloudy that I could not see through it anymore. The pictures look better than the actual thing.

Pics are below.

It is true. Spencers does have a clear/black Aristocrat with a white base. It looks cool. I want to get one sometime.

photo makes it look beeter than it was. it was twice as bad if you saw it with your own eyes. it wasn't cloudy brand new and then if you notice on the globe there would be parts were the wax would stick to it. so had little spots of wax around the fatest part of the globe. more i used it, the worse it got. my dad has a midnight clear/purple. that thing flows real nice and is clear as can be.

What is weird is that mine looked perfectly normal. It had clear liquid and was not cloudy one bit. However, as the wax was heating up and the first break happened I started seeing puffs of, what looked like clouds, streaming out of the wax. The more I used it the more it clouded up. I am guessing it is a bad batch of wax. is really sad that this is happening not only to this one but also some of the grane's and now you say the black chrome. :( Man, I picked a sad day in lava history to start collecting.

That is what I did with mine, i put a clear blue in the blue aristocrat base and i put the clear yellow on my silver camel base. I am not fond of primary colors next to one another. One of my quirks, I suppose. I would post a pic, but dont see where you can do that in this discussion??

I hope that it doesn't happen to you or anyone. Hope that it dosen't go cloudy with the new one I will be getting.

Am not sure about the white base ones. what colors were in the globe?
