That's really nice with the clear wax and light blue water, very interesting

Tim, I wish I could say it stayed that way, but it is now very opaque and white.  Look at my pics under "the blue" and that is the color that is is now after a few weeks of runs.  My son is still enjoying it even though it didn't stay clear.  He is only 16 and mom gave him the lava bug!!!

Yea that's the thing with goo kited lamps, they don't stay that funky opaque for long but they still do look good though.

You now have a lava lamping family - cool.

I like the MT wax though.  My purple still looks shiny like glass even though it is not see through anymore.  It's definitely different.

Yep, my 21 year old daughter started on lava at 8 years old.  That was our 1st lamp and I still have it.  Our Wizard.

J, this video was taken on the first run of my kit.  As you know, the 1st runs act a bit strange.  Also it wasn't heated up yet.  I did an experiment with the surf and found out that does make the wax break up a bit, but nothing seemed to effect my lamps as well as the heat source as far as flow goes.  Now, keep in mind, I've never kitted a grande, but I have seem them done with magnificent flow.  If you type in the search bar under goo kits or join the goo kit group there are some really good videos of grande's flowing on there.  I have only done 2 52's and a 20.  I'll have to take a video J of my purple 52 oz when it get's going really good.  It does all those small spheres, larger ones and even spikes and snakes in between.  I'm not sure if that's what you are talking about.  I have to lower my dimmer because it just gets too hyper.  Have you reached out to Magma to ask them if there was a trick to this?  You may want to research members that have kitted grandes on here and check out their videos.  Message them and see if they have any suggestions.  I know I'm really happy with the flow on my 52's.  When do you add your surf?
