How did you change the water? It looks EXCELLENT! Great job.
What do you mean how? I just changed it. Or do you mean what i put in the water to get this flow?
Yes, what did you add to the water. I am trying to replace the water in one of my old Centuries, but now the wax is sticking to the sides of the globe. Did you have this problem?
Take a look at my Astro cleaning problems video. i used to have the same problem every time i used distilled water. so now i just use regular drinking water from the faucet. than i add one drop (literally) one drop of dishwashing soap and some salt that you use for nose showers. i don't know if you have that kind of salt in your country.
Thanks. I will check that out. Sounds very familiar to what I'm trying - dish soap and salt.
But no distilled water. cause everybody is telling you to use it but i just had problems with it. and it really has to be the right amount of soap and salt and maybe also the right kind of salt. and maybe it also has something to do with the softness of your water.
Hmmm. Interesting. I've tried both distilled and tap water. I cleaned out the globe, but it still sticks in spots. I'll have to try again. Thanks for the tips. I'm watching your video now.
Maybe it has something to do with the point when you add the soap and the salt. first i fill the globe with maybe a quarter of water. than i add one drop of soap and a glass of water with the dissolved salt in it and than i fill the rest of the globe.
Ha! Your song in the middle of the video. LOL
Great restoration and video.
The flow looks fine to me, what did you use to tint the water ?
