My board game room

This is where my family and I play risk, balderdash, cards against humanity, and many other games. I just wanted to give you guys a quick look. I always have some lava and music going. It's such a relaxing environment. The two 52oz lamps on the shelf aren't yet up to temperature, and neither are the colormaxs on the table. I should have waited until they were all going, but oh well.

Would luv to own one of those but alas afraid of not being able to replace parts.......might just have to bite the bullet one day if I can find one at a decent price/decent quality on ebay and go for it!! Is that a tornado lamp I see on the left in that one shot? Not sure if that's the proper name...

Comment by Cowmatian on July 21, 2015 at 9:03am: Both fantasias are from goodwill, one was $7 and the other was $4. The lamp on the left of the table is a boiler and glitter lamp (the glitter is shot though) from goodwill too. The fantaisias use common bulbs, one uses a 12v 50w halogen reflector, and the other uses a 912 automotive lamp. Other than the bulb, there's nothing else likely to fail. The motors are clock motors (the clocks that move continuously, rather than tick), so they should last a good long while. All of the gears in the drivetrain are metal too. Lighting absolutely can make a room!
