Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

The Imperial at full operating temperature. A typical flow cycle lasts a minute or two, then starts all over again. Sometimes it'll snake all the way to the top and twist about for awhile.

How long does it take to get the Imperial to full, operating temperature?

Not long. About an hour. The wax is very soft.

Stunning lamp! Imagine that standing in a mid-century styled motel lobby complete with amoeba-shaped tiled fountain, rough stacked slate wall, and maybe a carpeted floating-pad stairway with a brass Sputnik light fixture over it. This would be standing in a corner, out a foot or so from the walls.
