Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Glitter lamp bottle appears to be glued to base, Is this normal? How can I put in a fresh bulb?

It's the only glitter I have. Purchased used but bulb burned out. I can not access thru base either.

You really should post an image of your glitter lamp so people can see what type it is and help you determine how to change it's bulb.

I ended up heating the "joint" at glass and base; under water like you'd do a jar lid. Gentle tap and came right apart.
