My brother had a Heritage grande go full on wax separation crazy. He boxed it and put it in his basement for a year. For his birthday my wife unearthed it and sculpted this crazy mystic tree and I brought his wax back to life. Full sculpted base in the form of a huge tree. Various mushrooms dot the bark as well as a few little flowers, vines and moss.

Awwww, thank you Wanda! It is quite the piece I must say. The in-person detail in the clay tends to draw the attention longer than the lava flowing around!
Nature girl tree hugger has a crush on this creation of yours. Add lots of flowers and it would be love.
Zane zane zane..............
a masterpiece
Many thanks, Pete! I miss it already
That would be cool, faux gems and even that Light Brite peg setup is awesome! I think we are going to get real nasty with this next one.
Ramp up the galaxy concept for this glitter project. I need to hunt down some cool marbles for the build. I wish I could afford those $4k crazy one-off custom blown pieces but...will need to bring the budget back to reasonable. I have picked up some small triangle flake in silver holo, black holo and green holo. Stay tuned, this needs to happen.
There's this from Dr. What?!, he used lite-brite pegs

using faux gems to catch the light has been in the back of my mind for some time, that would look so cool!
