Actually I used a die grinder to achieve this look. Grinded off all the original brass plating that was severely pitted and kept at it until I achieved this smooth look. I think total I have about 6 hours of work in it. Well worth the time and tedious work

Wow, I've never seen one of these so shiny. They are always tarnished. Great job I have to say.
