Nice hoax - I fell for it line and sinker. NO! The lamps eyes do not open when warmed. I looked it up online and the eyes do not open when it warms up. You got me- I was fooled.

OMtripppleggg!!! I had no idea their eyes open. I own a couple of these lamp and don't think I ever noticed if the eyes open or not. Today I'm going to turn them on a see if the eyes open. Thank you for the post. No wonder everyone wants one of these lamps. How creepy to see them sleeping then awake. Beyond brilliant feature.
