Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I went to my son’s apartment today, and saw that he still had the 16.3” red Lava Lite I got him when he was 10 (so, probably 2008-9). He hadn’t turned it on since he moved there in January, so I had him turn it on while we went out for lunch. When we got back, it was flowing beautifully. It’s a really deep, rich red too. We enjoyed a few beers and had a nice time.

He came to our house a few hours later, just as my black/clear LavaLite was flowing well. I cleaned and restored it yesterday by following the steps Claude outlined in his post. Really happy with the results (it’s just warming up in the picture below).
