Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Made my own "bowling pin" Lava Lamp! Featuring a 1960/1970ish Jim Beam bowling pin whiskey decanter, gold Underwriter Laboratories base, and products from Lava Lab Creations (wax, surfactant, and wax dye).

I do need to get a not so hot bulb though. I only had a 40w bulb for this base, so this gets way too hot for this size of globe.

Pictures do not do this justice, it's stunning in person!
