I was watching a film called Johnny Be Good (1988) starring Robert Downey Jr. and Anthony Michael Hall (Very 80's star - The Breakfast Club, Weird Science amongst others) and in it, his high school football Coach was at home in his kitchen/man cave with a fully flowing Lava Lite Coach Lantern highly visible on the side. Great to see that one. Earlier on, I had watched a film with Weird Al Yankovic called UHF and that also featured a fully flowing lava lite - 32 ouncer with red wax I think. Could be a midnight series. This was filmed in 1988!
