Has anyone ever fully refilled a colossus?

I finally got sick of looking at a cloudy colossus. I tossed a little water pump in it and pumped all the liquid out and poured the wax into a trash bag. I did this on a whim so I am kind of committed at this point. Oops? The Giant by it is a clear/red gookit which I put there for reference. I am going to refill the colossus with the same color and sell the Giant.

Here is what it looks like with a letter behind it. The liquid looked like dirty bath water.
