Thanks everyone!

@LampHead - Totally agree, you knew exactly what I am shooting for. Just need a red/white to finish, that will take awhile lol!

@Jonas - This is what I do for 2 piece centuries.  I take the black bottom ring off, buff it with 0000 steel wool, and spray paint it with a Valspar flat black.  This color also works very well to replicate a Midnight Century.  The base colors are Rust-oleum gloss enamel spray paints.

The base I sand very very lightly with 150 grit sandpaper in one direction to get any loose junk off then finish it off with 0000 steel wool in one direction again.  The cap I just rough up with the 0000 steel wool.  Then I spray both the base and cap clean with compressed air.  Then I spray paint a light coat followed by a second a few minutes later making sure to get everything.  Let dry for a day or less, depends on paint, and turn it on!

Can you tell us your process for priming and painting the bases and caps, and what paint you use? I'd love to do me a white Century.
