I really love how this turned out! I think it's the same as vintage strand glitter, but I can't be sure without a side-by-side. I also, just as an experiment, put some color transparencies on the bottom of the globe. They look great, and after 6 hours running, the color is still lasting! Huge thanks to Jack for the reminder about that! Autumn, I can easily take this off before I ship this lamp, if you still want it, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to experiment with some vintage style glitter with a vintage style color overlay.

She might want it after all! YAY! I'll need to work on it some more, though. That's fine! And thank you again, lala! You are awesome. :)
Thanks, everybody! I worked really hard on this one. :) Unfortunately, Autumn doesn't want it after all. Does anybody else want it? I hope so, because I wasted a ton of my glitter film on it...
Frigging super!!!!!!!
Oh my I love that! Looks just like my vintage strand glitter. I may have to place an order for one of those.
Wow, Loren, that's awesome!!!
Critter, if you don't do glitter, then give me your orange crestworth! :p Thanks though. And thanks also to you, Rodrigo. I think I am going to add some more glitter to this globe, now that you mention it. At first I had trouble with this globe getting logjams with the glitter piling up, but adding more fixed that. It's a delicate balance...I'd hate to mess it up, but I can always take some glitter out if I have to.
That is very striking. Would stuffing more glitter in there make it uglier or prettier?
