- My First Lava Lamp was:
- My first, and still favorite LL was a vintage Century lamp, which I picked up at an auction, in which we were selling a lot of my dad's things, after he had died of cancer. I snagged it for $20. Not knowing much about lava lamps at the time, I just thought it looked "original." I have since learned that its a pretty standard configuration for a century; gold base, yellow fluid, orange lava.
