I work as a salesman "on the field". I guess my hobbies are music and movies, and spending time with my family which consists of my girlfriend, my two kids and hers two, so four kids all in all, it never gets boring around here.
Where I Live:
In a house.
My First Lava Lamp was:
I always wanted a Mathmos, saw them in London before they were available in Sweden, but alas, I couldn't afford it. So my first lamp was a rocket called The trident motion lamp. Blue lava and clear fluid, it was beautiful.
And lately I found that you can make real bargains in the flea markets around here, and then I became a lava junkie.
Man I'd give anything for a thin layer of snow at the moment - we're dying out here in this insane heat wave! 6 days in a row over 40, then 39 (cool - yay!), 38, 38, 37 and 35 still to come. Overnight lows around 30 and air con that cuts out at 40 so the unit won't overheat - genius design that! :(
That's a sweet collection of lamps you have there! Love the blue telstars - one of those is next on my hit list hopefully...
Thanks for the comment on my faded blue astro. Just a quick note about what I did as I managed to avoid fading the wax pretty well. I sat the bottle in a shallow bowl and leaned it over so it's on a 45ish degree angle (so the wax won't spread all over the bottle when it melts), then covered the bottom half with a white cloth to stop direct sunlight on the wax. It took 5 days to clear (in Australian summer sun - it's vicious these days...), and the bottle looks heaps clearer :)
