"Well at least we are getting alternative variants for the lamps.  The violet turquoise and blue pink for the astro are just amazing. I love them. The blue yellow for my telstar is also amazing. It is much lighter than blue green. But would like…"

"I also wish they would make more one-off’s. I need them for my collection. I missed the ones this year."

"Nice! I have this in the Neo and really like it. Glad it was added to the Astro line. Now I just have to wait for some other new colors so I can buy in bulk."

"Yes, I got mine the other day and it’s one of the best Mathmos colors I’ve ever seen. Their video doesn’t do it justice. It’s not all that dark. Blue/Blue is way darker. I did take a photo of it running the other day.…"

"Must say this has been disappointing so far, having only seen one actually new colour, with the rest being ‘cross-overs’ from other models, and even the new colour isn’t particularly distinctive - I wonder if there are still more…"

"Thanks for posting your thoughts. I am going to wait on buying that color combination. I already have a blue-green. I bought a Neo yellow-pink and it looks just like my Astro Baby yellow-red. I was disappointed. "

"Another pic with the lamps turned off - very similar-looking. In the background is another blue-white LavaLite bottle, which completes my blueish ballet"

"Well, I bought the new blue-yellow Astrobaby bottle and it`s a bit disappointing: Compared with the all time running classic blue-green there`s not really a big difference. So I think I will also try the swapping, cause yellow wax is exciting, and…"

"Thanks for the reply. I am going to have to buy two bottles and try swapping the fluids."

"Yes, just swapping the fluid, not touching the wax. Just release the caps gently by running under hot water, then, remove the fluid into some really clean containers, then swap or mix and very gently replace. Put the caps back on tightly.  I…"

"I would love to see pictures of the color combinations you mentioned. So, if i understand you correctly, all you are doing is moving the fluid from one bottle to the other? Is there anything else that needs to be done during the process?"

"I did a neo swap a few months ago. A yellow orange and a violet turquoise, became a yellow turquoise and a violet orange, much better IMO. "

"Yeah, main reason is to get a clear/yellow but the blue/plum will likely be very dark and look best in a bright room and/or with light behind it or an extremely dark room. I like my yellow/plum I made in a past swap op. "

"I think the blue plum could be very interesting. Let us know how it goes and what its like. "
